Web-Enabled WIP

Web-enabled Work in Process (WIP) allows Media Management to complete Document Production WIP transactions in a browser.

Note

Document Production WIP has no relationship to Exceed WIP.

WIP documents can be changed and saved back to the WIP database. The user also has the capability to retrieve a PDF version of the doc­uments.

WIP documents can be checked for spelling errors.

Web-enabled WIP provides the following functionality:

•	Email notification of waiting WIP transactions.

•	Listing of WIP transactions in Media Management document search and Inbox Web pages.

•	The ability to retrieve and modify WIP documents. (See Figure 6. Media Management WIP Page.).

•	The ability to perform spell check on any WIP document. (See Figure 7. WIP Spell Check.)

•	The ability to view a PDF version of the document and com­plete the WIP transaction. (See Figure 8. Completing Immediate Print vs. Batch Print.)
